The old South Esk River Bridge at Fingal

This old bridge at Fingal spanned the South Esk River in front of the Rail Station.
It gave an important link to towns like Mangana, Mathinna and Rossarden.
Like many bridges in Tasmania, it was a victim of the infamous 1929 floods
